One of the fun parts is that as you grow up you get a lot more freedom and so getting to experience that for the first time like the first time, like going out to a cafe or restaurant. Well probably when I moved out from my parent’s place was the start of me not relying on my parents. I went to University for a couple years, a University dorm and then probably getting my first apartment on my own, having to do all my own dishes, all my own cleaning and looking after all those chores on my own was probably the first time I realized that I wasn't a kid anymore. So before I was a teacher here at JL, kind of between my University degree and going back to school to get my teaching degree, I taught overseas in South Korea for about 4 years and that was probably a really good goal that I achieved that taught me growth. Being held responsible for getting everything organized and just working towards success, it was a journey I had to ride myself. An advice I would give to the younger generation is don't be afraid to ask for help, don't be afraid to team up with other people and if you're going to make it through it's because you're good at getting help when you need it so don't think that you have to do it all on your own.
